Years Ago, & Yesterday is a group thesis show featuring Karly Federmann, Jaila Felts, Lauren Lumpkins, Ben Mikos, William Morris III, Trinity Stewart, Sophie VonLehman, Keith Wallick, and Michael Ward. It’s composed of various sides of the creative process—ranging from design, sculpture, writing, film, and photography. This show will take you through a journey to Ancient Greece, the perils of the advertising industry, Kentucky’s rapid industrialization, music to the stars, your grandmother’s living room, and beyond. This show will help you find a place for yourself, tell stories, and break the rules on what a gallery experience is. Years Ago, & Yesterday is about the past, today, and the future. It is our goal to cultivate the community through our work, and we hope to see you there.
My work at Years Ago & Yesterday is a compilation of design work created to amplify my portfolio and my skills over the course of my senior year at the AAC (Art Academy of Cincinnati). I combined what I was taught at The Modern College of Design with what I learned at AAC to cultivate a balance of artistic expression and practical design work.
